Even if he still has to work through the logistics of it being possible, a very small and warm smile slips onto his face simply because she invited him. It makes him feel warm.
"And Chantico." It's the dog that cinches it, how she didn't even consider leaving his child behind. "That is a lot for you to cover. Do you really... have that many miles? I would not want to put a burden on your finances, and I definitely cannot afford getting myself to Denmark."
Sure it's a house full of strangers, but it's Jyn's family, not his brother-in-law's, and that makes it much different. Jyn will have his back, like Kes has Shara's.
