It breaks her heart to see him like this, so torn up, practically in shambles. It's so different from the calm, cool, collected spy she used to hate for his compartmentalizing. Now she misses that ability. She doesn't think it must be that something changed, something made it different for him, she assumes it was simply a bad hit. Something had gone wrong clearly, she didn't remember any sort of assassination being on the agenda.
